11-Day /10-Night Road Trip Itinerary: From Port of Nador to Tangier

Discover Morocco on an unforgettable 11-day private journey from Nador to Tangier, combining the Eastern region, Sahara Desert, oases, mountains, and historic cities. Travel through Guercif, Boudnib, and Merzouga, enjoy a sunset camel ride and desert camp experience, and explore the dunes and nomadic lifestyle before continuing to Zagora and the Draa Valley.

The adventure continues through Nkob, Jbel Saghro, Dades Gorges, Todra Gorges, Imilchil, Midelt, and the Middle Atlas Mountains, with visits to the Cedar Forest and Azrou before reaching Fes and the blue streets of Chefchaouen. Finish your journey in Tangier, completing an incredible route from Morocco’s northeast to the northern coast.

Day 1: Port of Nador → Guercif

Arrival at the Port of Nador and departure to Guercif.
1st night in Guercif.

Day 2: Guercif → Boudnib

Drive through the Eastern region. Pass by Jbel Debdou and Rissani until you reach Boudnib.
2nd night in Boudnib.

Day 3: Boudnib → Merzouga

Arrive in Merzouga and head to the desert camps in the dunes. Camel ride at sunset and overnight in a tent under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga

Full day in the desert. Climb the sand dunes, take photos, and enjoy mint tea with nomads.
Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga → Zagora

Long drive via Errachidia and the Draa Valley to reach Zagora.
5th night in Zagora.

Day 6: Rest Day in Zagora

Rest day in the city of Zagora.
Carry out mechanical checks on the vehicle + light tour of the oasis and Zagora souk.
Overnight in Zagora.

Day 7: Zagora → Dades Gorges

Early departure via the Kasbahs of Nkob, Jbel Saghro, and the Valley of Roses to reach the Dades Gorges. Amazing landscapes.
Overnight in Dades Gorges.

Day 8: Dades Gorges → Midelt

Morning departure across the High Atlas Mountains. Pass through Todra Gorges, Imilchil, and Imilchil, then arrive in Midelt.
Overnight in Midelt.

Day 9: Midelt → Fes

Morning drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou and the Monkey Forest. Pass by Michlifen and continue to Fes.
Overnight in Fes.

Day 10: Fes → Chefchaouen

Full day to explore the Blue Pearl. Walk through the blue streets, visit the main square and local shops.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 11: Chefchaouen → Tangier – End of Trip

Final drive to Tangier. Arrive in Tangier and end our journey.
